OK thanks for the input. I yanked the 128 and replaced it with a SB Live Value card. Now I am trying to discover what I must do to get it working..(I am searching forums,google and my brain )

I believe I must do somthing with alsa-autoconfig but I dont think I am running the command properly......

just start the command then hit tab. its called tab completion, and it's a lifesaver. type like alsa<tab> if that doesn't work do tab twice and it will give you a list of possible commands.

I found that I needed to type "sh alsa-autoconfig" to get the script going... followed by update modules and I just rebooted.... But its still not working...... I must still be missing a command. Back to searching!
