Not yet. I burnt display adapter from my primary computer with broken water pipe on water cooling system and needed "mediapcs" display adapter to my primary pc. Next I'm going to try that IRA-device with external serial port.

hi, i almost got this working :D test_io works, irrecord works, but irw dont show anything. The only problem was the "ir-pin" on my mobo. i got d-sub9 connector and connected ira device to my serial port and it started running.

I just cant realize what for lirc needs libirman ?

its alive!! :D
just realized that if lirc uses libirman, it does not need those lirc_serial and lirc_dev modules loaded..

All i did..
1. wget libirman from lirc.org etc.. (the most new version)
2. extract it to /usr/src/libirman...
3. changed the handcap 500->2000 usec?
4. ./configure;make;make install
5. wget lirc sources
6. extract it to /usr/src/lirc... (the most new version)
7. ./setup.sh -> other device -> irman/uir?
8. configure & exit
9. make;make install
10. irrecord -d/dev/ttyS1 -Hirman /etc/lircd.conf (here i had dificulties to find out working remote codes from my kameleon urc-8206, but one yamaha dvd-player code worked)
11. configured my /etc/hardware.conf (see LOAD_MODULES=false)
12. /etc/init.d/lirc restart (start should be enough)
12. irw

next i need to configure lircrc and mythtv :D
i think those lirc_dev and lirc_serial modules was just for raw data usage.
my knoppmyth is R5E50..

Code:
root@HomeBOX:/home/mythtv# cat /etc/hardware.conf
# /etc/lirc/hardware.conf
#
# Arguments which will be used when launching lircd
LIRCD_ARGS=""

#Don't start lircmd even if there seems to be a good config file
START_LIRCMD=false

#Try to load appropriate kernel modules
LOAD_MODULES=false

# Run "lircd --driver=help" for a list of supported drivers.
#DRIVER="bw6130" << my second remote
DRIVER="irman"
# If DEVICE is set to /dev/lirc and devfs is in use /dev/lirc/0 will be
# automatically used instead
#DEVICE="/dev/usb/hiddev0" << used for my second remote
DEVICE="/dev/ttyS1"
MODULES="lirc_dev lirc_serial"
# Default configuration files for your hardware if any
LIRCD_CONF="/etc/lircd.conf"
LIRCMD_CONF="/etc/lircmd.conf"
