That card never went back on sale...can anyone else recommend a SPDIF or Optical card that works well?

For ease of use I still say the Sound Blaster Live is hard to beat - and it has SPDIF. Works out of the box and is dirt cheap ($20).

For a higher end audiofile card try the M-Audio Revolution.

Does it have optical-out? If so, where can I get it for $20?
