Hi Marc,
Use xfs_fsr, part of the xfsdump utilities.

Thanks for the info. Looks like xfsdump isn't pre-install in R5F27 -- how do I install it and do you invoke xfs_fsr with any special options? Thanks!

Marc
I've not used it on any of my KM boxen, but on a stock R5F27 install
Quote:
root@myth3:/home/myth3# apt-get -s install xfsdump
Reading package lists... Done

The following extra packages will be installed:
libdm0
The following NEW packages will be installed:
libdm0 xfsdump
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 90 not upgraded.
Inst libdm0 (2.2.4-1 Debian:4.0r2/stable)
Inst xfsdump (2.2.38-1 Debian:4.0r2/stable)
Conf libdm0 (2.2.4-1 Debian:4.0r2/stable)
Conf xfsdump (2.2.38-1 Debian:4.0r2/stable)
root@myth3:/home/myth3#
So it appears you should be able to install it without harming your setup.

There aren't many options to xfs_fsr, I simply use
Code:
xfs_fsr -v /dev/???
A quick man xfs_fsr will give you the rundown on the short list of options, as well as an explanation of what it's doing and how.

Scott
