I almost hate to suggest it, since I'm a huge Athlon fan, but the P4 hyperthreaded processor just plain kicks ass on HDTV decoding. I have a 3GHz P4 running my 1080i projector and it never even breaths hard. Its the only Pentium in my house -- my other computers all run Athlons!

I like the look of that board.. I also want to be able to support 5.1 sound. Does the integrated audio on that board support 5.1 or do I still need one of these ChainTech AV-710's ?

There are a few different GeForce 6150 based boards. The most popular one is the ASUS M2NPV-VM however you have to buy an external module to do digital audio output. I personally chose the Abit NF-M2 nView which has optical audio output on board. You can find more info on my thought process in my upgrade thread here:

Both boards are capable of 5.1 audio however you should specify weather you mean digital audio output or simply 5 channel audio output.
