| Post subject: | nvidia video & lan problems |
my onboard nvidia lan won't work. Addtionally, the S-Video out that is onboard my Chaintech 7NIF2 (nforce2 based) won't output to my tv. Any ideas? |

Well it should all work. That's the board I have. On the first run through of the setup you'll see something about nvidia lan. I can't remember if it's a question if you use it or if it just unpacks and intalls it for you automatically. As for the video you need to run the install-nvidia.sh script then you'll need to set your modelines in the XF86Config-4 file. For that motherboard I also had to add the Options "ConnectedMonitor" "TV" line also as mentioned in the install. |

as for the lan... it states that I have no connected network cards |

Is the chipset enabled in your BIOS? If so, as root: install-nvnet.sh then netcardconfig. |
