I have an SN41G2 Shuttle box; using the integrated Geforce 4 MX TV Out. I also have the fairly standard (from the posts in this forum) too much red, not quite bright enough problem. As I am using the TV as my only output and the text is entirely illegible I am looking a a solution. People have mentioned the xvattr utility to adjust the colour balance. Could someone please list their settings for a normal output ? Also does the xvattr utility have to be rerun each reboot or do the settings stick ? Thank you for your time, Douglas |

the easiest way I've found is to check the box in playback settings that says something like use xv color controls then you can use the F key to toggle through the color hue etc and adjust them on the fly, and once you get them right no need to run anything agian. I have no idea what the xvattr is. |
