Couldn't find a thread discussing this, I apologize if it came up already...

Newegg has a special sale on the Encore card I listed in the subject line for $25. So my question is if anyone knows if it is compatible or not. If so that would be sweet cause then I could finally afford a Myth TV solution.

And yes I understand that the quality is probably really crappy, but since this is my first attempt to build one of these boxes, I would rather save money now and upgrade later.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

[UPDATE] I also saw a great deal on this card on Newegg: KWORLD VS-TVMP2RF, which appears to be hardware encoded. I basically have the same question about it. Thanks
