I am planning a New Myth HD setup. As far as Cards go I have -
EVGA GeForce 7600GS HD output
PVR-150 SD input
PcHDTV 5500 HD input
My question is the EVGA GeForce 7600GS has a video out dongle
that has component and svideo outputs can I use both outputs at the
same time? Example Component out to my HDTV and svideo out
to another SD tv.
If this will not work, is there a way to setup something like TwinView?

Thanks

no. you can only use one.

the signal comes out of a 8 or 10 (or whatever) connection on the card, and depending on your xorg.conf settings will either be in a form suitable for svideo or component.

sorry.. i forgot to add you can do twinview from the tv out adn the vga (or whatever) connection you'd usually connect to a monitor. if it's to a sd tv, you'll need a converter tho. you can pick em up at humans store.

Oh and TwinView has a number of issues for this application which I've cover elsewhere numerous times, however, I'm tired of repeating them so you'll have to search. ;-)

Takes Guys for the Quick reply. I will look into Twinveiw a little
farther but if that turns out to be a pain in the butt. I may use a
Component video splitter and convert the one of the component
feeds to s-video to run to may SD TV.
