I read somewhere that this is in fact a usb card. Setting it up as such made me come one step further - the tuner is recognized and is available. However, when trying to tune it, I only have the option of tuning my other card, a NovaT PCI. The result is that I have three tuners available for recording, but the T500 tuners don't produce any picture. Anyone having experience with this card or can provide any clues? /Chris |

Apparently, the Nova-T 500 appears to be only supported by the 2.6.19 kernel and higher, KM5E50 is 2.6.18-chw-13. Bruce S. |

I have submitted a howto for installation of the drivers for Nova-T 500 on R5E50 on the wiki - http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=NovaT500. It appears that although included in later kernels, the v4l-dvb drivers can be downloaded and compiled against that 2.6.18 kernel as well. Currently no support for the remote though. |
