Hi there, I have a microsoft media centre remote for which i have obtained the following file to make it work http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/browser/trun ... le.mceusb2 So far so good. However my fiance has arthritis in her hand and finds the fact that you have to repeatedly push buttons on the remote quite difficult. What we would like to be able to happen is to be able to hold down a key to for example continually up the volume, or to continually move down a list of items. I was told that i should add 'repeat=3' to various parts of the lircrc file however this doesnt appear to do anything. Id be very grateful if someone could give me some pointers on how i might sort this little niggle out. Many thanks Rob |

Fixed, turned out i wasnt editting the correct lircrc file, oops. |

for a quick edit: cp ~/.mythtv/lircrc ~.mythtv/lircrc.default sed '/button/a\ repeat=3' ~/.mythtv/lircrc > ~/.mythtv/lircrc.new mv ~/.mythtv/lircrc.new ~.mythtv/lircrc |
