Hello, I'm trying right now to get my Hauppauge Nova-S plus (DVB-S) card to work with Knoppmyth R5E50. Mainboard is an Asus M2NPV-VM. All worked fine with R5B7 and an older Asus board (see my HowTo). I did a complete fresh auto-install and added my DVB card in mythtv-setup. Because channel scan did not work there, I did scan Astra-19.2E | tee /root/channels.conf in /usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-s/ manually. He finds all the channel and wirites the file. When I import the file with mythtv-setup, I can see all the channels, but watching TV doesn't work - only a black screen. Recording a show results in a 0 byte file. Anyone an idea? Thx KAi |

Okay, after hours of trying and several restarts it must have been the last things I did that night which made it work. This morning I booted KnoppMyth and live TV just works. I think it was a problem with mythfilldatabase. That will be difficult for the Wiki..
