Dear reader. As linux beginner... Can you recommend a dvb-t tuner for usb or pci-express that is recognized automatically in Knoppmyth R5E50? I tried already a Hauppauge PVR USB2 and a HVR900. Both did not work by default. I tried to compile em22xx module but anything failed and I deleted the /usr/src contents. Can you help me? It should be for PAL. Or at least can you tell me how to get the kernel-headers and kernel-source again for R5E50. What should I have in sources.list and what are the package names for R5E50. Sorrily I cannot reinstall, because I have had hours until my nvidia driver worked. Please help. Thank you very very much. Harry Kiessecker www.whiplash-connection.com |

I have a couple of usb DVB tuners that work great under R5D1. I have two MSI Digivox and two DigitalNow TinyUSB2 tuners, that worked perfectly out of the box. Your profile didn't list your location so I'm not sure if those models will be available where you live. DigitalNow is an Australian company. However they are all Twinham clones as listed at http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/D ... B-T_USB2.0 so any of the similar devices should work just as well. |
