Folks,

I'm using a homebrew Serial IRblaster - R5E50 - went through the setup and everything worked great, got the blaster working and it changed channels fine. Rebooted and nothing - nada from the irblaster.

Re ran the irblaster.sh script - good to go, blaster operates and everything is cool - reboot - nada. This can't happen, it's not dependable - therefore not wife friendly which = me in a big heap of cabbage....

Suggestions?

Make the irblaster.sh script run immediately after a reboot?

And before anyone asks, I don't know how to do it, but know that it can be done. Sorry to not be of much help. :?

Are you running irblaster.sh as root? What are the permissions on /etc/rc5.d/SXXirblaster (where XX can be any 2 digits) and what is the contents of that file?
