Just not to sure how to disable my nvidia card as I can't get it to work too good and enable my onboard via chipset. Is there a way that I can easily do this. Is it just commenting out the driver in the xorg.conf and adding my other one or is it more involved that that.

Got a screwdriver? Just pull it out.
If you need to leave it in, you'll probably have to disable in the BIOS screens.
