I've finally gotten a weekend to work on knoppmyth and am very happy with the results. A big thank you to Cesman et al for the massive amount of support they give on this project. Keep up the great work guys. Ok...so my box is working great so far, but I need to get the remote working to make it living room acceptable. I made an error about a month ago by buying an AST/Logitech remote - http://www.remoteselector.com/remotes.htm#logitech under the impression that it would be easy to install (I think I got that impression over on the myth mailing list, but perhaps took it out of context...can't remember). anyway, I really have no idea where to begin. I've been reading about lirc and how one must compile the kernel and am kinda lost. I think the 'logitech' driver in remotes.tar.bz2 in /usr/src is the correct driver, but I'm not sure how to make it happen. Should I just but an ATI remote? |
