Okay, I've stumbled across something in the 3.0 items whilst trying to do the collar upgrade that I don't quite understand. Shrink collar's creation stats say Caster level: 5th, Prerequisites: Craf I am not a man who use forums to gripe ..However credit were credit is due, so a big thanks to Sounds Great in sunny Manchester, and to whoever they use as their techs Got my carve top back yesterd well chaps and chapesses, Alfaglen and I have just about settled on a plan and will likely be booking ferries in the next day or so, depart hull 23rd june, land zeebrugge 8am 24th down through well, I'm going to get married in 11th of October, then some other plans, plus small trip or voyage and, finally, somewhere near Feburary'09 there will be a lot of time.. ![]() Hi Aaron, The problem is that to get the digital out working you are passing everything through the optical link. When you do this, you're also passing the volume to the receiving device. At this point, I'd be tempted togo back to analogue audio: You can control the volume then, since that signal is set prior to its departure from the box. Cheers Mike |

I see...... I suppose I could go back to analogue.. As long as I can get all of my surround channels ok, which I am sure wont be an issue at all. I didnt realise when passing to optical, the volume goes too. ![]() So for analogue sound for 5.1 channel, you use 3mm stereo plugs to RCA I assume, and throw them into the receiver's inputs like that? I wonder what could be wrong with my receiver's remote... My streamzap receiver lights up when I hit buttons on it, so I know the remote is working, which is why I think it might be the Kenwood receiver at fault. ![]() hmmmmmmm.... ________ Bmw V3 |
