Hello,

I have two soundcards. One is built into the motherboard. The other is a soundblaster live!. The one built into the motherboard is terrible quality, but unfortunatly it is the one enabled by default.

How do I select wich soundcard to use? I would like to use my soundblaster card by default.
All my Linux experience, which is pretty limited, is with GUI configuration tools, so I have no idea where to look to change this.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
newtbrick

You can disable onboard sound through your system bios.
