Post subject: | Silver Dogbone Remote |
Hey, I've looked everywhere (i think) and can't find out something. I'm fully up and running w/ knoppmyth and the wintv pvr-350 dogbone remote works...but the buttons are different than they used to be. I might have installed the wrong remote. How do I go back and just change from whatever remote I accidentally installed to the dog bone. I doesn't recognize a lot of the buttons correctly. Thanks. |

One way to check to see what is happening is to run the following: Code: ircat --config=/home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc mythtv
Every time you hit a button on the remote, ircat will tell you the name of the button you hit. If the button name looks wrong, you are still configured for the wrong remote. If the buttons look right, the probably is probably somehwere in your .lircrc file. Try this out and tell us what happens... Marc |

As root: /usr/local/bin/lirc-reconfig.sh |

The R5F27 hints tell you how to restore you old button mapping files from your backup. This posting tells you how to change them. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15551 BTW - The example config files I posted there should work for you. |
