Problem described at
http://www.graffagnino.net/frankie/blog ... h-htpc.php

I have two AverTV cards.
http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/showp ... oduct/3951
I changed /etc/init.d/KnoppMyth-tv to ignore /usr/local/bin/tvterm.sh and put in
Code:
modprobe saa7134 card=85,85 tuner=67,67 gpio_tracking=1 ir_debug=1
modprobe saa7134-dvb

Ideally, the /usr/local/bin/tvterm.sh script should test dmesg for the subsystem ID against CARDLIST.saa7134

I have also blacklisted saa7134-alsa to avoid a crash with mplayer, but I don't know if this is still necessary.

tvterm.sh was simpling a quick hack for a certain tuner. Feel free to modify and submit said modifications for inclusion in future releases.

I booted up the machine with a knoppix cd, and it autodetected the cards correctly - dmesg shows "[card=85, autodetected]" for both.
saa7134-dvb didn't get inserted though, but I gather that's an outstanding problem with saa7134.
The kernel is 2.6.19.

What's the kernel version in the new KnoppMyth ?
