PVR 350 TV-Out, X fails to load "no screens found"

Post subject:  PVR 350 TV-Out, X fails to load "no screens found"
on R5f27, after addressing another separate ir remote issue i rebooted the box and now X wont load.

the system is switching into tv-out and console is being displayed on the NTSC TV via the pvr350 tv out before x loads. Then, when x tries to load it pukes

Initially when I installed, using a dell FP2001 monitor, I said 'yes' when asked to enable tv-out on the pvr350. I then finished the rest of mythtv-setup, restarted frontend and tv-out took over no problems.

Myth has been running fine for about a month and I dont remember rebooting at all after the initial install, but i might have..

anyway, this time around when I rebooted X reports:

Screen 0 deleted because of no matching config section
Device(s) detected, but non match those in the config file.
Fatal server error:
no screens found


I assume this is because x doesnt know wtf its doing with my NTSC TV..
its probably looking for my Dell monitor, which is attached. But again, tv-out on the pvr350 is taking precedence, and x keeps puking.

Below are 2 versions of xorg.conf. One pushing the pvr350's tv out (not working), and the other that is working with my dell monitor..


Using the 2nd conf below I can get the myth interface to work via my dell monitor.. console is still running out of the PVR350, but when i watch a recorded program, the dell monitor goes blank and the NTSC displays the video, then when I back out of the video feed, myth switches back to the Dell monitor(vga)

WEIRD AND ANNOYING!

Probably set to the incorrect fb device, try /dev/fb0. See tjc's R5F27 Hints and Tips for other possibilities, as well as searching the forums for PVR-350.
