This is the USB transeiver and the remote without the 4 colored buttons on it. RC6 is posted on the back of the remote. DRIVER="default" # If DEVICE is set to /dev/lirc and devfs is in use /dev/lirc/0 will be # automatically used instead DEVICE="/dev/usb/hiddev0" MODULES="lirc_dev lirc_mceusb2" lsusb shows: Bus 002 Device 005: ID 0609:031d SMK Manufacturing, Inc. I've installed the lircd.conf and .lircrc files from here: http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=8048 I get no response from the remote. Has anyone gotten this remote to work? |

I have the same setup and had the same problems. I've got it working now (mostly) after trying a bunch of suggestions I found posted. I can tell you what I did, I know parts of it are not necessary but I haven't had the time to determine which of these things made the difference. Try this: ln -s /dev/lirc0 /dev/lirc /usr/local/bin/lirc-reconfig.sh copy the lircrc file you downloaded to /home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc and to /home/mythtv/.lircrc restart mythtv That works for me, but after a reboot I have to do this again. Again, much of that may not be necessary but it seems to work for me. Hope that helps. Stu |
