Strange. What version of knoppmyth are using? USB is not your only issue, look at all of the other "Unknown device" 's in lspci. Grab a ubuntu 7.10 live CD and see how you lspci looks. If everything shows up correctly, you might want go through task up of upgrading to more recent kernel -- but from what I understand -- doing this with R5F27 is non-trival -- at least for me. I tried and turned back because the changes with regard to ivtv between 2.6.16 and more recent kernels.. This gave me more possible issues than I wanted to think about -- as it related to how the pieces fit together in knoppmyth. This tight integration usualy a very good thing.. |

The only card that I've got plugged in is the PVR-350. I had a D-Link NIC card in initially, but I got the drivers for the onboard network chip going, so I pulled that card. mac wrote: Grab a ubuntu 7.10 live CD and see how you lspci looks. I''ll give that a run! mac wrote: ..might want go through task up of upgrading to more recent kernel.. non-trival
Yeah, I kinda figured that! With that case, I might just wait for the next KM version! ![]() ![]() |
