I was thinking about purchasing one of these cards
http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/ENG/Products/DVBTdual4.aspx

Does anybody know if they are fully supported in MythTV, as in works right out of the box.

Also been doing a bit of a google search..cant seem to find if they have a hardware encoder on them or not.

Or should i go with the HAUPPAUGE PVR-150...Its not a Twin Tuner but it does have a hardware encoder. Does it work out of the box ?

Many Thanks
Batfink

You are comparing apples to oranges. The Dvico is a digital tuner, the PVR-150 is analog. If you are looking for an analog dual tuner the PVR-500 is available. And yes, the 150/500 work out of the box.

Also, where do you live? It's important.

I had trouble with the fusion dual 2 digital.

Yes it works great with mythtv. I have one and have been using it for over a year now. I also use Comcast and have the basic package for $8 / month. I get several SDTV channels and I get the HDTV channels for all the networks too (NBC, FOX, etc...). I don't think comcast realizes it though.

I actually have two different models, one for pci (this one works with mythtv) and pcie which works with kernel 2.6.24, so I will have to wait on this one.
Thanks
