I am having trouble having IVTV loading firmware on my new PVR-350. I am wondering if I have a defective card. Here is some data from the log files:

Any ideas?

I am testing out a card on a Intel 810 chipset board using a P4 1.7 Ghz processor. Also a AGP Nvidia 5200 Graphics card. I also tried this card on my production Knoppmyth box in my signature with no luck as well.

Thanks,

Everything looks fine up until it tries to load the firmware.
Code:
ivtv0: Loaded v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw firmware (376836 bytes)
ivtv0: Loaded v4l-cx2341x-dec.fw firmware (262144 bytes)
ivtv0: Encoder mailbox not found

ivtv0: Encoder mailbox not found
ivtv0: Failed to initialize on minor 224
ivtv0: Encoder mailbox not found

I'd head over the to ivtv mailing lists and search for the text of those messages.

Hauppauge is letting me RMA my PVR-350. I am hoping they send out a replacement :)

Just a update to this thread. I got a brand new replacement PVR-350 card and it works perfectly.
