To anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit, this posting may have an idea for you. I've searched around the internet for a moderately priced remote control (i.e. $30-$60) with a customizable interface and haven't been able to find one. (The Philips Pronto allows you to create custom button layouts and such, but at ~$500 I'd rather put that money into my PC hardware.) One of my main goals is to lower the WLC (wife learning curve) and have a remote with customizable labels for a fixed set of buttons. For example, think of a standard universal remote that had a standard set of power, volume, channel, up/down/left/right/OK, etc. buttons but with a removable clear cover on it that you could pop off and insert a custom-printed label sheet. You could then program the remote and create a label sheet with "Music", "Streams", "Weather", "Info", "Skip", etc. to make using the remote way easier. Right now I use an ATI Wonder remote and my wife has to write down that "F" means to commercial-skip forward and "E" means to skip back, etc. Others out there can probably relate to the fact that the easier it is for the wife to use, the easier it is to spend more money on upgrades :)

If you know of an existing product like this, I'm all ears!

I would also recommend the Harmony Remotes. Currently have the 880 and love it.
