I have an E6550 that was given to me and I'm looking for a R5F27 friendly board with native 1333 MHz FSB support. The Dragon 2.0 uses the Intel DG965WH, but that board doesn't support the E6550 as far as I can tell. I think that chip needs the P35 or X38 chipset.

Is there anyone in here running R5F27 with a "new" C2D (i.e. the 1333 MHz FSB ones like the E6530. E6550, E6650, E6750) chip? If so what MB (p35 or X38 maybe?) are you using and are you/did you experience any problems installing and using R5F27?

Thanks all!

You are correct. The CPU just won't work on that board. Ignore the claim that it will just switch to 833 MHz mode - not true.
