My kworld ATSC-110 has been working so well that I got a second tuner. It's a close relative, an ATSC-115.

After booting it sees the second card as a Philips TUV1236D (according to kern.log) or UNKNOWN/GENERIC (from dmesg). Either way it doesn't seem to work with mythtv-setup.

I've looked through the various tutorials, wikis, forum threads, etc. Haven't found much advice about using a pair of nearly identical ATSC cards. Any suggestions?

Thought I'd add: I followed the instructions at the mythtv wiki http://mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Kworld_ATSC_110 (look for the part about /etc/modprobe.conf) already. Didn't help; just changed the ATSC-110 from autodetected to "insmod option" with no effect on the ATSC-115.

Success!

In the instructions for how to set up the ATSC-115, there's a line that says:
Code:
options saa7134 card=90 disable_ir=1

Change it to:
Code:
options saa7134 card=90,90 disable_ir=1

Reboot, and it sees two ATSC-110 cards!

Now I get to learn about input prioritization. Have to do some tests, schedule a throwaway recording and hit live TV in the middle of it...
