it may work. You should check out the wiki on Digital audio. http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... AudioHowTo and use the cat /proc/asound/pcm command to make sure you have your asound.conf setup with the right port. |

Thankyou for the reply but Ive already spent way too much time with all of the recommended tweaks. Motherboards are cheap so if someone can recommend a motherboard with SPDIF working out of the box or a soundcard it would be great. miker ________ Vapir Oxygen Vaporizer |

I see the Dragon 2.0 specs use the Chaintech AV-710 soundcard that has a SPDIF connection. If I disabled the Asus onboard sound in the BIOS and plugged in the Chaintech it would be great. ________ Marijuana joint |
