So far this looks like a great option for recording / time shifting HD DSS and Cable programming without being tied to an STB. Should also work with HDDVD and Blu-ray (at least for a while...)

A couple questions instantly come to mind though:

1) Will it have Linux drivers / support?

2) Will Myth be able to play back the H.264 recordings and if so, what type of hardware will it require?

3) If devices such as this that exploit the "analog hole" become prevalent, how long do you think it will take before the content companies enforce restrictions (limit to 480p) on "unprotected" (read non-HDCP) outputs?
