I am building a frontend machine to put in my bedroom for casual viewing and have everything except for a video card. I was wondering if this video card would be a good choice:

The machine is an older P4 2.0Ghz. I record and watch HD on the master backend/frontend, and would possibly use this frontend for HD if I upgrade my bedroom TV in the future. Would this video card and machine be sufficient if I decide to do HD in the near future? Anyone have any experience with this card?

I generally recommend one with a DVI output. It seems to equate to a slightly better picture for the TV out. It also gives you more options if you upgrade to a better TV later. If you're willing to deal with a rebate these look a bit better:
