I have tried installing knoppmyth with this board and I get to formating my drive but it just gets stuck there at 14%. When I check the drive it still have the data on it so the partition table doesn't even get touched. |

The "stall at 14%" is almost always caused by the installer not recognizing the hard drive. You may have to change some settings in the BIOS, probably to swap the first drive recognized between PATA and SATA . I've also seen it on 250 gig Western Digital Pata drives, that just wouldn't work unless jumpered to "Cable Select." Give us some details on the drive that failed to work |

Its a Western Digital SATA 400G drive. I have tried setting it to ide mode and also just SATA. Still it just stalls. Maybe the kernel doesn't like my sata controller. |
