Hi Guys, I'm not quite sure where to start on this one.

I'm running KnoppMyth R5.5. Here's my X version output (Cecil had me upgrade the X a while back due to a keyboard input issue)



My video card is an ATI Radeon 9600.

It locks the system up when I try to watch a recorded show (they play fine on other frontends and UPNP clients on the network). When it locks, it does not respond to Ctrl-Alt-Backspace or Ctrl-Alt-Del. When locked, the Caps-Lock light does not work.

I've tried ssh'ing in and watching 'top' as it tries to play. top just freezes and the session becomes non responsive.

On an odd note, it used to work, but doesn't now. Between when it last worked and now, I did have to clear and reset the computer's bios settings (short the RTC pins, then reconfigure). Is there a video setting in the bios that would cause this? (Motherboard is an ASUS K8N, with an NVidia chipset)
