Has anyone gotten 5.1 to work with their set up? If so can you plz tell me what sound card you are using and if there was any extra installation steps that you had to do

i have a yamaha 744 based card with a SPDIF out on it. Works no trouble at all. Are you trying to get it to work in 5.1 for DVB or for movies?
I cant' get DVB to work with ac3 but mythvideo works fine with ac3 with a few extra switches
