Greetings

R6 installed without a hitch except 1, appears HAL is detecting my xbox wireless controller as both a joystick and mouse.
To make sure it wasn't isolated I tried a rumblepad usb as well.
It to was being picked up as both a joystick and mouse in X.

As in both:
The left joystick controls the mouse pointer position and the D pad up and right appears to emulate the Right mouse button click
The Up/right or down/left diagonal appears to emulate middle mouse button.

Appears to assign the xbox controller with both xpad driver and input.x11_driver = endev

X is picking up the joystick via endev through HAL

Is there a recommended method of correcting HALs assignment of drivers for any given joystick?

I have looked about several other sources regarding HAL fdi files and joysticks but HAL continues to assign it to endev.

I've used the following HAL fdi:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<deviceinfo version="0.2">
<device>
<match key="input.product" string="Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver">
<remove key="input.x11_driver" />
</match>
</device>
</deviceinfo>

Also am not sure on how to restart services in R6, appears the '/etc/rc.d/hal restart' only gives errors

Thanks in advance
