I just "acquired" an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro (256MB) PCI Express 16x video card. I am wondering if anyone knows how it will work with the latest LINHES?

I am getting ready to do some minor upgrades and do a fresh install and thought I may use this card instead of my older nVidea FX 5200.

I searched the WIKI and the forum and couldn't find much information other than ATI doesn't have the best Linux support.

We include the multiple drivers for ATI, this includes the experimental Radeon HD drivers for the r5/600 chipsets. Unfortunately, I'm not up to snuff on Radeon performance wish.
Code:
pacman -Ss radeon

Does that command install the drivers or just show that they are available?

I have R6 installed with this video card and it's working good. The only issue I am having is when watching live TV when I bring up the TV Listings it chokes pretty hard. It keeps flashing between the live TV and the guide. Not sure if this is a video card issue or a config issue. I have 2 GIGs of RAM.
