Hi,

I just installed the newest r6 and cant seem to get the irblaster working on r6.
I think my problem is finding what ttys port to use. This is my sustemconfig #IR settings file
#IR settings
Remotetype="mceusb"
ReceiverType="Default"
HostLircWait=""
ReceiverSerialport="ttyS0"
HostTransmitproto_1="motorola_dsr315"
HostTransmitproto_2="none"
HostTransmitproto_3="none"
HostTransmitproto_4="none"
HostBlasterType="Serial"
HostSerialPort_blasterlirc="ttyS1"
Hostnumblaster="1"
rootSSH="1"

From this when i type in
;irsend SEND_ONCE Motorola_dsr_series power
the device wont power off.

My question is is there a way to send the signal from command line to a port just in case i have the wrong one or a way to identify what one is active.

this is what i get with dmesg | grep lirc

lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 61
lirc_mod_mce: Input driver for Microsoft MCE 2005 keyboard v0.1.5
lirc_mod_mce: Florian Demski
lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin: sample_rate: 0
lirc_mod_mce[2]: SMK eHome Infrared Transceiver on usb2:2
usbcore: registered new interface driver lirc_mod_mce
lirc_serial: auto-detected active low receiver
lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin: sample_rate: 0

after a bit more reading it looks like my irblaster may be ttys0 that may be com1 but looking at irsettings
#IR settings
Remotetype="mceusb"
ReceiverType="mceusb"
HostLircWait=""
ReceiverSerialport="ttyS0"
HostTransmitproto_1="motorola_dsr315"
HostTransmitproto_2="none"
HostTransmitproto_3="none"
HostTransmitproto_4="none"
HostBlasterType="Serial"
HostSerialPort_blasterlirc="ttyS0"
Hostnumblaster="1"
rootSSH="1"

Receiverserialport is using that. I have a mce usb receiver that is working. How do find out they my only serial port is?

In my bios the com port is showing as 3f8/irq4

More info it looks like my serial port is ttys0.
dmesg | grep tty
Kernel command line: root=/dev/disk/by-uuid/ee588e0c-5140-483e-a523-be60520be448 ro init=/sbin/runit quiet vga=0x314 splash=silent,theme:linhes console=tty1
console [tty1] enabled
serial8250: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
00:09: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
lirc_serial: use 'setserial /dev/ttySX uart none'

So it the problem that receiverserialport and hostserialport are the same. How do i change receiverserialport or can they be the same?
