I have just assembled what I hope will be a sweet PVR. Knoppmyth installed fine, no problems. I installed the nvidia drivers and configured TV output. Everything works great... mythfilldatabase downloaded the TV schedule (which I can browse without issue), all of the individual applets seem to work without problems except for TV. When I click on "Watch Live TV" it takes me to a blank black screen for about 10 seconds, then returns me to the MythTV gui menu. This is probably a really simple issue, but I can't find anything similar to it in the forums. Thanks for any help! |

You may have an irq conflict problem. Try the pvr-250 in another PCI slot and also try to assign irqs manually to your devices in the system bios setup. |

Search in the boards for a problem with model 980 pvr250's. I had a similar problem on my new install and fixed it by changing a tuner setting in one of the config files. From what I can recall, you need to make it tuner type of 39. The newer pvr's have a diff chipset in them. |
