found a good card for a good price: TigerDirect Website It's a Kworld XPert TV-PVR 883 TV Tuner Card for a decent price but i dont want to waste my money on a card that wont work in myth. The reason is im building a VCR box. The front end will be XBMC and the recording device will just have a huge harddrive to store torrents and recordings. Either the XBMC or wbe control panel will be used to select which shows to record and im wonering if this card can be used? |

I dont THINK so, i could be wrong, however that price is about what i paid for my hauppauge 401 card, and that works very nicely. if you cant afford the $125 pvr250. |

I think the card may work. If you are going to pay that much for a software card, then I'd recommend the Hauppauge 401 as it shoud just work. |

my only concern is that its tough to get those cards at a good price in canada. |
