| Post subject: | SnapStream Firefly PC Remote |
Hey guys, I went out and bought a SnapStream Firefly remote without doing any reading (dumb on my part).. It doesn't look like it is supported at all -- I've done some googling and haven't found anything positive. Will this card work with Linux/MythTV? Should I take it back? Is this (http://shopati.ca/product.asp?sku=2321579) the Remote Wonder that everyone is talking about? Can anyone recommend a better remote? I have a PVR-250 but I managed to break the jack that the IR dongle plugs into, so I'm hunting around for a new remote. Thanks. |

not sure about the snapstream, but what's wrong with the remote wonder? looks like a nice remote, and it's RF, and it's a total breese to setup in knoppmyth. My little brother just setup his system and had the remote wonder, and it took him all of 10 seconds to set it up. |

There is nothing wrong with the ATI, other than no one locally carries it.. I have to order one direct from ATI. I'm shooting for instant gradification if you haven't noticed

Order one off of ebay. That's what I did. I think I got it for $30, which is a lot cheaper than you can buy it from ATI. |

Buy another PVR-250. You can never have too many tuners. |
