I have a USB adapter for networking that I have been able to get working under different Linux distros, but using KnoppMyth, I can't even get the bus to scan properly. lspci -v doesn't show the device and dmesg shows this.

dmesg | grep usb
usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs
usb.c: registered new driver hub
usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xe0a7e000, IRQ 11
usb-ohci.c: usb-00:02.0, nVidia Corporation nForce2 USB Controller
usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1
usb-ohci.c: USB OHCI at membase 0xe0a80000, IRQ 9
usb-ohci.c: usb-00:02.1, nVidia Corporation nForce2 USB Controller (#2)
usb.c: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x13b1/0xa) is not claimed by any active driver.

If I could get Linux (knoppmyth) to recognize that this device is a linksys wusb54gv2, then I could use ndiswrapper to get the rest to work. Utilizng a 2.6 kernel, I have had no issues. Is there a way to get knoppmyth running with the 2.6 kernel? Or is there a way to make knoppmyth see my wusb54gv2?
