| Post subject: | PVR 350 vs 250 |
I already have Knoppmyth running on a TV Wonder VE with a Gefroce 2 Ultra Tv out. I have an AMD 1800+ with 512 meg DDR. My live tv quality is not very good and I blame the $20 capture card. I was just wondering what the forum's thoughts are on the PVR 250 vs the 350. Is it worth the extra $75 for the 350 -- and how well is the 350 supported including tv out. |

well the 350 tv-out functionallity is not supported out of the box in knoppmyth currently, but I am told the quality is exelent. |

Well the 250 quality is excelent. Haven't seen the output of the 350 yet as I'm supposed to receive it tomorrow.

i cant tell u how well it is specifically in knoppmyth cuz i havent gotten it working yet, but i can tell u the video quality on my 250 in windows beats the water out of my old tv wonder pci |

cant tell u about the pvr350 tv-out quality, but from my experience with nvidia tv-out, anything is better |

well that's all fine and dandy, but what's anything, what else works in linux for tv-out. I know eventually I want to get a scan converter and just run component into my hdtv, but I just don't have the $100 for the scan converter right now nor the time to try to create the modelines for it. |
