Post subject:  Linksys Wifi

I currently have a Linksys wireless WPC11 PCI card for my laptop, which I would like to use with knoppmyth. It seems it doesnt support it by default (?) or im doing something wrong, but it works find with morphix so there must be linux drivers. Does anyone know how to get it to work so I can play arround with it? Also, does the cpu speed of the pc matter if I run the backend on another pc? I may get a pci ethernet card, but right now its not worth it as I just wanna play around with myth tv atm. Thanks

that must be one monster laptop that supports pci cards. Just one note 802.11b is not fast enough to run a front end on, from what I heard. I have tried it here, but my wireless card always freaks out under heavy load on linux. While it worked it appeared to almost work maybe just a few jumps here and there.

can't really help you with the dirver issue I'm not sure what driver that card uses.
