I have a problem that sometimes when I look at a recorded program there's no sound. This is very annoying. Most of the time I get sound on the recordings, maybee 80% is OK. Live TV always works. It's quite strange because sometimes when I'm watching live TV, myth comes in and tells me that it want to record the program I'm watching and when it starts, the sound goes away.

Has anyone else seen this problem??

I have searched the forum and there are so many posts regarding sound and I not been able to find anything that matches my problem.

Intel P4 2,8 on a QDI mATX MB (Intel 865G)
512MB mem and 160+200 gig Seagate Barracuda V
PVR350 (only used for input) + GF4 440MX (TVout)
Onboard Sound - ALSA?!?
