Hi,

I currently have a GeForce 2 GTS card with TV Out (comp & SVIDEO). The picture is 'ok' but nothing to write home about. It lacks sharpness on either the comp or SVIDEO out feeds.

Does anyone know if they GeForce 4 MX 440 card's TV OUT is any better? I heard that the MX is actually built on top of a GeForce 2 or 3 core but that the TV OUT was improved. Was that really the case?

The reason I ask is because I can get the card for about $25.00.

When I was looking for a better TV-Out solution the most "satisfied' recommendations seemd to come from people using FX5200 based cards with a DVI connector. The DVI support seems to indicate either a slightly better reference design or require better components or something ... There was definitely a correlation however.
