I know you are working on the pvr250 support. Will this include lirc support for the 250 remote? And are you going to have the new 0.12 version of mythtv, which has alot of new support for the pvr250. I was just wondering, because I would love to go back to an unmodified system, but right now I've had to compile a custom kernel for the pvr250, and lirc support, because I've never been able to compile a kernel module that will install into a packaged debian kernel. |

LIRC will be included, MythTV 0.12 will not. The LIRC support isn't MythTV's built-in. The PVR-250 gray remote should work out of the box(although not all the keys function). At this point, barring any unforeseen difficulties R4 is a few days away. |

ok so the user will still need to write scripts for setting the bitrate ,contrast, saturation, etc. thanks for the info. |

Taken care of... Just modify to set your defaults(that is if you don't like the defaults we've set). |
