Hi there, i have a Matrox G450 Video Card and would really like to get TV-Out. Has anybody done this before and got the whole knoppmyth running on the TV-Out of the Card? Anybody could give me some hints about how to get this working with this card? Greetz MoD |

shouldn't be a huge problem the matrox tvout should be pretty well supported. make sure you are using mga and not vesa as the driver in the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file. you may also have to install the priprietary driver, though I hear the latest one only works with xorg, so you may have to look back for an older version to support Xfree 4.3 you also may want to look at doing apt-get install matroxset to set your different tvoutput options. |
