I know that the M179 has been discontinued, but you can still buy them from Avermedia. Are they now supported in the IVTV driver? What are the disadvantatges compared to the PVR 250? Sean |

Currently the ivtv driver has to be patched for the M179 to work. I've testing this at the moment for inclusion in the next release. Disadvantages compared to the 250... none I'm aware of... |

have they not incorperated the m179 stuff yet? what are they lolly gagging around for? LOL They were talking about putting it in the regular ivtv tree a while back. Although I do seem to remember some problems making the sound for both of them work or something. Oh well might not be bad to have in R5. I know they were selling them on ebay for $50 awhile back. |
