I have installed KnoppMyth on a Compaq 1.8 Evo with an integrated sound card (Intel8x0). The system works great except for a nasty hum in the audio (low level but annoying). I want to inastall a better sound card (I have an extra SoundBlaster Live). I have installed the card - when I lspci the Live shows up. What do I have to do to get KnoppMyht to recognize and use that card? |
