Hello all, Any chance anyone can recommend a decent Modeline that will work with Nvidia's Riva TNT 16 Meg TV-OUT ? hah.. thanks, mike |

you shouldn't need a special mode line. Just make sure that your horz rez is 30-50 and vert is 60. Then you should be able to use either 640x480 or 800x600. You may have to specify connected monitor tv as specified in the install docs, but for the most part there is no need for specialized mode lines anymore. The only place I know they are needed anymore is for vga-> component converters to hdtv sets. |

yahh, I figured someone might say that... I seem to get a funny pattern on my screen something of a thatched effect... perhaps reviewing my old Riva TNT 16 meg card is the problem (-; |

well make sure you modify the horz and vert refresh rates. That will deffinately make the display look wrong. |

I went and picked up this unit; http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php? ... pn=MS-8890 Got it for $55 CDN on special. Hopefully I will have better results with it! thanks for sharing your thoughts, mike |
